Our policy

 

DISCLAIMER: Wise kids Preschool Christian Academy is not a daycare center. We are a Preschool half day/ drop-in program and can only operate a maximum of 4 hours or less per day with different children attending separate components. We are REQUIRED by law(G.S. 110-86(d)(d1) to REGISTER and post a notice stating that the program is NOT REGULATED BY THE STATE.

 

Policies and Procedures:
Tuition: All fees are due on Monday morning of each week. The fee is $80.00 for the first child and $75.00 for any additional children. Please feel free to pay through CASH APP or CASH. Regardless of the number of days in attendance for the week, the FULL tuition is due. Remember the tuition is a flat rate and is not based on the number of days attending or absence due to illness, holidays, or personal vacations.

 

Center Closing:

Wise Kids will be closed on the following holidays:

• NEW YEARS DAY

• M.L.KING HOLIDAY

• GOOD FRIDAY

• MEMORIAL DAY

• FOURTH OF JULY

• LABOR DAY

• THANKSGIVING (DAY BEFORE (and) AFTER)

• CHRISTMAS (and) DAY AFTER

 

DISCIPLINE: Verbal warning will be given to a child if behavior problems occur. If the child continues to misbehave a Timeout will be given. If the child becomes disruptive to the learning environment the parent will be notified to pick up the child for the day.

RELEASE OF CHILDREN: Children will ONLY be released to persons listed on the pickup list form. The person(s) MUST show a valid I.D. Parents must inform me of the person(s) whom will pick up the child.

 

Medication: Medication will only be administered upon written authorization by the parent. Medicines MUST BE IN THE ORIGINAL CONTAINER with the child’s name clearly labeled. A medicine sheet is to be filled out by the parents during drop-off time before medicine can be given.

ILLNESS: If your child has a temperature of 100 or above, vomiting, diarrhea or any other symptoms like thick mucus from the nose or mouth, eye drainage, ringworm, or any other sickness that can spread among the other children; the child will not be permitted to attend the program until after 24 hours.

EMERGENCIES: It is the parents responsibility to keep all contact numbers, address changes, and contact names UPDATED in case of an emergency.

 

PICKUP TIME: The program operates under a 4 hour or less separate components with different children at each component (See Disclaimer above). THEREFORE, you MUST be on time to pick your child up daily.

Note: This is a Christian based environment. Therefore, your child will be engaged in some age-appropriate Bible kids time activities.
